It's important to ensure that we can clearly communicate with our dogs when it's time to get on or off our water crafts to avoid injury. If they are on or off boarding before we are ready for them, they could get stressed during training, or they could even get hurt if we haven't had the chance to observe our environment yet. Let's look at what happens when we are reactive or unkind. We feel as though we've made an impact, which is reinforcing to our brain and makes us more likely to notice things that will upset us in the future.
Instead, try taking a moment when you are triggered to find something positive and act or speak on that. The person, animal or thing that you are interacting with is more likely to be receptive, and your brain gets a boost of serotonin ~and~ feels like you've made an impact, making it much easier to find the silver lining the next time that a problem arises.
When we choose kindness as much as possible, we choose peace, both for ourselves and those around us🧘♀️
The Yamas are the standards by which to hold oneself to when it comes to the way we treat others. It is the first thing we should consider in pursuing bliss🧘♀️
